Hey everyone, I need some help troubleshooting an issue. I have two chromecast devices that I can cast to from my android devices and from my LAN based Windows 10 computers. I have updated chrome on both devices, checked all security settings, updated the firmware and reconfigured my router, all to no avail. Any suggestions? Exact same thing here. It stopped working a few hours ago, but only from Win10 boxes on wifi.

I have found that sometimes it helps to jump around a bit on the chromecast to sort of make it active and then my chrome browser will see the device. Probably not the answer your looking for but my device will sometimes not show up in chrome until I’ve used the chromecast a little.

So I’ve been having trouble for quite some time with this issue as well. It used to work perfectly fine but then all of a sudden it stopped casting from my laptop Windows I just spent 4 days on this exact problem with my dad’s new win10 laptop and changed a single setting.
